Buhari meets prominent Nigerian newspaper publishers

President Muhammadu Buhari met with members of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN) where they discussed crucial national issues on Friday in Abuja.

According to Femi Adesina, the special adviser on media and publicity to the president, the federal government will continue its partnership with the media to ensure speedy progress of the country.

He said: “You know that these are the key stakeholders in the Nigerian Project. The media and the government must work together because they have a lot in common. So, from time to time, there should be meetings like this between government and media.
